Kota Kinabalu: Tuaran has been selected to host the launch of this year's Harvest Festival celebration on May 1.
Announcing? this yesterday, deputy chief minister Tan Sri Joseph Pairin Kitingan, the launch will kick start the festival celebration at other districts and ares starting May 7 until 25.
He said the highlight pf the month-long festival will be held at Hongkod Koisaan KDCA in Penampang.
In relation to this, he called on corporate sponsors to lend their support to the festival celebration.
Among the dates of celebration at various places are as follows: Klang Valley, Beluran, Telupid and Semporna (May 7), Kota Kinabalu (May 11-13), Matunggong and Tongod (May 12), Pagalungan, Beaufort, Bengkoka Pitas (May 13), Penampang, Lahad Datu, Putatan and Kemabong (May 14), Sook, Tenom, Kota Belud and Membakut (May 15), Banggi (May 18), Tambunan, Ranau, Kunak and Kota Marudu (May 21), Kuala Penyu, Menumbok and Keningau (May 22) and Sipitang (May 25).
