Kadazandusun Cultural Association (KDCA) is pleased to inform the Kadazandusun community as well as the general public that the Kaamatan celebrations in 2006 have been scheduled as below. It is hoped that all KDCA members and member of the community will make the necessary preparations to celebrate this annual cultural event.
- 1 May – Launching of State-Level Kaamatan in Kota Marudu
- 6 May– Tawau, Banggi, Putatan
- 7 May – Membakut, Menumbok
- 9 May – Kudat
- 11 May- Matunggong
- 12 May – Tongod, Paitan
- 13 May – Klang Valley (Kuala Lumpur), Kinabatangan, Tuaran, Tamparuli, Kuala Penyu, Lahad Datu, Semporna, Beaufort
- 14 May – DBKK, Beluran/Telupid, Kota Belud, Pitas, Nabawan, Tenom/Kemabong, Sook
- 18 May – Sipitang
- 20 May – Tambunan, Papar, Penampang, Sandakan
- 21 May– Keningau, Ranau, Labuan – Sugandoi Kaamatan (Talentime Contest) – Sodop Unduk Ngadau (Kadazandusuns’ version of Miss World)
- 30 May– Traditional Sports & Exhibitions
- 31 May– Closing Ceremony of Kaamatan 2006 by Sabah Governor.
